Full house renovation, Sorrento
Completed: 2014

This waterfront property was redesigned and renovated to make the prestigious river views the main feature of this family home.
To open the house right up the entire house was gutted, ceilings propped and structural steel installed to take out the internal walls.
One of the features of the house is the large roof over the entertaining deck. This is constructed out of structural steel, recycled hardwood and lined with V joint lining above the rafters. The same detail was also duplicated on the side gazebo entertaining area.
Very high quality marble, granite and feature lighting is used throughout the bathrooms and kitchen. A butlers pantry behind the kitchen makes a great addition and provides a lot of extra room and storage.
Other features include hardwood windows, bi fold doors facing the back entertaining deck and stacking doors to separate the lounge and kitchen areas. Oak timber flooring gives the home a great feeling underfoot.
The pool was stripped and relined with 2 mm pebble, with a swim out section added to the shallow end, waterfall features and LED lighting. New frameless glass balustrade, tiling and landscaping around the rear waterfront yard transforms the entire view from the house and the water.
